Fortson man dies after crashing car into trees | News
LEE COUNTY, AL - A Fortson man died Monday morning after crashing into a tree line in Lee County.
The single-vehicle crash took place at 3 a.m. on Lee County Rd. 437 about 17 miles east of Opelika.
Travis Lee McClure, age 21, was killed when the 2003 Honda Accord he was driving left the road and hit several trees. He was not wearing a seat belt.
Alabama State Troopers are investigating the crash.
